Balmain Iyengar Yoga Studio focusses on 10-week courses. Please select your preferred weekly session (1 lesson per week for 10 weeks).
For those who would prefer to practice yoga more frequently, we offer multi-class cards.

Explanation of Levels
This course is for those who are new to Iyengar Yoga. Students can then continue on in a Level 1 class.
Students need a minimum of 10 weeks Iyengar yoga experience. Classes will include shoulderstand and start to build a foundation for headstand.
Level 1 – mature age
Students work at a quieter pace with postures focusing on different areas of the body each week.
Students need a minimum of 1 year Iyengar Yoga experience. Classes include headstand and shoulderstand.
Students need a minimum of four years of regular yoga attendance at Iyengar Yoga classes. Your home practice will include inversions and backbends.
A led practice is a yoga session which lies somewhere in between a class and a home practice. The teacher will lead you through a sequence, calling out relevant points to observe, and demonstrating important actions or how to best use a support.
