About the Teacher Development Weekend

This workshop will be of particular interest to level 1 and 2 teachers and will assist in continuing to develop your understanding and skills in Iyengar Yoga.

The workshop is an opportunity to consolidate your existing knowledge, and then to explore more deeply various aspects of our teaching and practice. We will explore observation, adjusting, communication in teaching, and bring that same lens to our own practice. These are skills that will be useful when working towards Level 2 teacher certification.

This weekend will also be of interest to Level 2 teachers, as participants will have an opportunity to specifically consider what is useful and required to develop and mentor a beginner student.

There will be a Friday Intensive class before the Teacher Development weekend. This should be booked separately.

Sunday 13 February 2022
7.00-8.45AM –– Led and observed practice
10.30-12.45PM –– Teaching with feedback from Pixie
2.30-3.45PM –– Therapy discussion, Q and A, review of weekend
3.45-4.30PM –– Restorative and pranayama
