March Teacher Development Workshop with Pixie

Teacher Development workshops are open to all certified Iyengar Yoga teachers. The purpose of the workshops is to further develop and hone teaching skills and practice and build understanding and awareness in practice.

Eligibility:
– The TD weekends are aimed at teachers who have attained a minimum of a Level 1 certificate and who are looking to further develop their practice and teaching skills.
– These workshops will also be of interest to those who are now Level 2 or 3 and who would like to consolidate and expand on their current skills.

At some point of this weekend, we will also be focussing on an aspect of Remedial Iyengar Yoga.

Schedule:
Saturday
6.30 – 8.15 am – Led practice
1.00 – 4.15 pm – Asana theory and practice.
Focus: Observation and the art of Teaching plus some remedial work.
Yoga discussion

Sunday
7.00 – 8.45 am – Led practice
11.00 am – 1.00 pm – Teaching with feedback from Pixie
2.30 – 3.45 pm – General Q&A, clarifications and review of weekend
3.45 – 4.30 pm – Restorative and pranayama
