Beginners courses for real beginners
The focus at the Balmain Iyengar Yoga Studio is on building up your strength and confidence with your yoga practice. We understand that each student has different strengths and weaknesses, and will be more able in some poses and movements than others.
This is why we encourage students new to yoga to complete our 10 week foundation course which will take you through each of the primary Iyengar poses, with detailed and personalised instruction.

Meet your teachers
Tiffany Hambley started practising Iyengar Yoga in Sydney in 2003. Tiffany spent several years in China and Hong Kong. She qualified as Introductory II teacher, and taught at the Iyengar Yoga Centre of Hong Kong.
Andrew Toland began practising Iyengar Yoga in 2003 in Australia. He has lived and worked in Asia, and now resides in Sydney. Andrew is certified at Introductory II level.
